I could have sworn these were worms in her hand as she carried them out of the woods proudly. We have a book called "Yucky Worms" in which a grandmother teaches her grandson (who thinks worms are yucky) all about worms, the ways they help gardens, and that they're our friends..
..but it turned out to be some kind of plant!
