A big family has always been Stu and I’s plan. Four kids, specifically. After Lincoln, we had to do some reevaluating. Was it worth the slightly increased risk of having another child with a heart defect, would there ever be a convenient time to have another baby when Lincoln’s future is so unknown, could we handle having another baby/toddler while dealing with another heart surgery and a hospital... stay of who knows how long? Those were our main concerns. Ultimately, we decided not to let what-ifs and temporary inconveniences change the vision we had for our family.
We are excited to announce that in December, we’ll welcome a HEALTHY(!!!) baby into our family.
