Earlier this month, Stu, Lincoln, and I took a three day whirlwind trip to New York City! We won't be able to share why until October, but we have plenty of pictures to share. We crammed so much into just three days, and left feeling like we'd experienced everything we'd sought out to. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to visit NYC and is right up there with my top ten memories.
A car picked us up at the airport, complete with a driver holding a sign with our name on it. I thought that was something they only did in movies :) The airport is in Brooklyn, so we had a 30 minute or so drive to get to our hotel in Manhattan.
We were staying in midtown Manhattan, right in the middle of everything. The Waldorf Astoria was literally right around the corner, and we were in walking distance of so many of the well-known sights.

After checking out our hotel room, we decided to get some pizza and make our way toward Times Square. On our way, we saw a lot of famous land marks. Here you can see the MetLife building, and the Helmsley building in front of it.
Rockefeller Center
NBC Studios (30 Rock)
Lincoln, happily chewing his pizza crust.
We finally made it to Times Square! Basically everything you see that looks like a billboard, is actually a screen with rotating ads.
The Toys R Us' flagship store is in Times Square, and it was amazing! It was probably 5 stories tall filled with toys and all kinds of attractions:
Life size superheroes..
Hulk made of Legos..
An animatronic T-Rex..
Life size Barbie Dreamhouse..
..and last but not least, a ferris wheel!! You can really see how huge the store is in this picture.
Finally we made our way back to the hotel to rest up for day 2.
